A New York State Fail Prize winning recipe. Unlike most pecan pies, which are sweetened with corn syrup and refined sugar, this pecan pie is naturally sweetened with real maple syrup. As you can imagine, the maple syrup flavor makes this pie extra delicious.
1 ½ cups Rosser’s Ridge pure maple syrup
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pecan pieces
1 cup whipping cream
½ cup Rosser’s Ridge pure maple syrup
Set oven rack to upper middle position & preheat to 325 F. Butter 9” pie pan. Whisk all pie ingredients together and pour into pie plate. Bake 45 minutes. Beat heavy whipping cream with our maple syrup until stiff peaks form. After pie has cooled, top with whipped cream and serve. Serves 8-10.
