- 1/2lb “Chicken of the Woods” Mushrooms (forage) purchase mushrooms or substitute portobello mushrooms, beef, chicken, of pork
- 1 whole medium onion
- 2 cloves of garlic sliced
- 1/3 stick grassfed butter
- salt, pepper, sage, rosemary, thyme to taste
- 1/2 cup Rosser’s Ridge Pure Maple Syrup
In saucepan, heat oil & butte rover medium heat. Add & reduce onion until translucent. Add garlic. Reduce. Add salt & pepper. Ass sliced “chicken of the woods” mushrooms. Cook through on medium heat, about 5-7 minutes. Add herbs, season to taste. Drizzle Rosser’s Ridge Pure Maple Syrup & heat through while stirring for an additional minute.
